Commercial Leasing Report for April 2012 | Increased Rents, Decreased Vacancies

The month of April 2012 witnessed a slowing of commercial real estate deals in Manhattan; however, there was still an average amount of activity. Crain’s New York Business reports, ““We are still doing okay,” said Mr. McCarthy, who notes that the total vacancy  rate last month was 9.2%, almost a percentage point lower than it was at the  same point in 2011.
